It's called a favicon. Search the tutorial database or google and you'll get plenty of results on exactly what to do

There are many tutorials on this within the P2L database. in short however,
create a 16px by 16px PNG image that you want to represent your site in the URL / Bookmarks menu.
Save this image as.
Upload it to your FTP folder
Rename the extension from favicon.png to favicon.ico.
You server should automatically update itself with your favicon, but you may need additional code in your header to do so.
