hi there

I'm using DM8 and whenever i change the view to design mode and i'm using either a php include or a SSI, it only shows me the first included file and none of the tables or well...anything else on my page.
When i turn off the show SSI stuff in the Prefernces, its shows the tables fine but none of the ssi files.

I should mention that EVERYTHING works fine once uploaded to the server. Its just a pain in the ass when i want to see what it looks like in the design mode.

oh, i have it set to use a temp file in local browser preview which still loooks fine.

Is there some setting i don't have turned on?

Thanks

Corey

ps: i know that design mode isn't that great to begin with and i use the code mode more than anything.

WYSIWYG
What You See Isn't What You Get.

Don't worry about dreamweaver, only worry about the actual browser. Since dreamweaver isn't a server, it won't (and can't) parse the server instructions properly, therefore, it ignores them (for the most part).

btw, you shouldn't use the Design mode when using PHP or SSI to include files as its not a browser. And I don't see where its a pain to upload each time, Dreamweaver has a background file transfer tool, just use it. When you save, it automatically upload the file and related files to the server...
