i AM trying to make a tween hapen preferably a shape tween but everytime i do i get a dotted line instead of a arrow pointing to a key frame in the timeline, i tried some tutorials like this one turning FUM into JOY but i still had no luck

i make one key frame with an item on it then on another frame 20 away i put another key fram with a different object then i right click and go tween then in properties box change it to a shape tween

can anybody help me please as stupid as this may sound ( im trying to learn flash 8) :cool:

You're getting a dotted line because, shape tween's shouldn't be applied to symbols neither movieclips.
