Ive been trying to make an Intro splash page for a friend of mines Clan for Battlefield 2 game. Ive taken some images and its very simple what im trying to do but I THINK MY FLASH MX IS BROKE Grrrrrr.... :( Im trying to do a fade out to the next image kinda like a slide show. Ive been trying this &*$#! $#@! for like 6 hours Ive even felt soo noobish that i had to look up some tuts like this one to see if i was doin sumthing wrong  http://www.webclass.ru/eng/Tutorials/Flash...o_pictures.html
I will explain what ive done in steps maybe someone has had the same probs or sees what im doin wrong.

1. Imported 2 .jpgs into Library
2. Moved the 2 .jpg images onto stage (dragged from library window)
3. Converted both images to graphics (f8 convert to graphic)
4. Placed top omage over bottom (images overlapping for Morphing effect)

Now this is where i dont wtf is wrong ;)
I select the top image to change teh Alpha.
When i try to change the Alpha from the Color Mixer Panel NOTHING happens.

Ive even went and tried this basic tutorial to see if I was doin something wrong or it was because of a different version of Flash but i still cant get it too work
http://www.tutorialo....com/count/3426

AGAIN in Step 4 when i try to change the ALpha setting to the cricle i made Via the Color Mixer Panel NOTHING HAPPENS

Ugh i hope someone can help me I WAnt to goto sleep its likes 5 AM  and i wont be able to sleep till i get this figured out.

Ok, im still a noob aswell, but i do understand this and what your problem is.. i think, someone corect me if im wrong. With your top image, on your time line, make 2 keyframes as far apart as u like and tween them. Then turn the images into alpha on both the keyframes and on the second keyframe change the alpha to 0, this should make it clear. Make sure that the 1st keframe has an alpha of 100, the tween should then make it apear asthough it is fading away. Now put your other image on a layer below it so it looks asthough it fades into your other image. Hope this helps
