I've been helping people in this section, now I need help.
In the screenshot provided it shows arial at size 12, it not displaying the corrent size. This is Photoshop CS2 at my work. It worked fine last Friday. Font size 16 is enormous.

Maybe it could be the resolution. Try opening a new document, and choose a resolution of 72 pixels/inch
Hope it helps :D

Had the same problem a few times:
like PSgirl says :) ...
Check your resolution, with me it was 2 ppi instead of 72 ppi, still dunno why though.

Cool, thanks guys I'll check the resolution when I get back into work. If I have to re-install it, I have to go through hoops just to get the product key. It's in a cabinet I knick-named Fort Knox and I don't have the key. What's sad is I am the only web developer for my company and there's 6 IT guys floating around.

Yeah that was it (resolution). I must have opened a file with a 150dpi at some point last friday and somehow it set that to default when I open new files.

well, the default resolution in Photoshop is the last you've used...
