This was (is?) an art assignment that was supposed to have been completed today after approximately 10 hours of time spent on the project, but I still have some work to do, namely the feet. I'm very proud of this as I've never been able to work with paint before, but this project has really gone well :) The original photo is one that I cropped for better focus and is from National Geographic. If I think of it later I'll scan the original for you to see :)

Comments/advice is appreciated :)

I can't wait to see it when you get the feet on them. :) It's coming along really nicely. Great work.

Best Regards,

Jason :)

very nice work, no way i could make anything near to that.

just one thing....i find it hard to make the distinction between the left penguins beak over the right penguins head...maybe get the beak to stand out from the head a bit....just a thought

but still, very nice job.

Can't wait to see the finished piece, it's just the two heads seem to look odd to me, something about there not being enough distinction between the two, I think. :P

There's some white highlights to do, then there'll be some definition :P
