General Rules :P

Happy holidays guys, and to mark the occasion the 3d competition will be having a facelift, some general rules will stay the same :D but length to complete will be longer (1 month).
This gives you guys enough time to complete your entries ;) , and... also have a break after each 1, it enables poeple to work more detail into there models if they are so inclined :) .
Polls will also be back after this competition which puts you guys back in the driving seat!, hopefully these changes will enable an increase in the amount of poeple doing the compo.

Happy holidays information
- its the beggining of the holiday season, so to do something special we have opened the gates to a more general competition :D
- Any holiday that has happened in the last month, or will be happening over the next month can be choson as your subject for making a wonderful holiday scene for example i will probably be making something to do with christmas :D , new years day counts 2!!!!
- Remember !!! scenes do not need to be overly complex, they can have simple shapes, if they are appealing to the eyes or if someone falls in love with that style you can still get some votes :love:

I dont have a 3d program but would like to enter -
This is fine!!! you can download a very capable 3d program by following the link to blender in my sig!
It is the big open source 3d moddeling program, wings is a subdiv moddeling program and is also useful if you dont get on with blender, you can also google learning editions of the other main 3d apps (c4d does not have 1), these are free for download, are often limited, and the maya learning edition has obscene watermarks on the render!... but they are definatly worth looking into :)

* 1 Entry per person.
* Any 3D program may be used.
* Competition ends december 8th january 06
* Must be started after the start of this competition.
* Make sure your P2L id is mentioned somewhere on the submitted entry.

NOW... if you have read all of that and are still up for it, go for it!!!

gd luck all :D

the look really bad technique?

is this just an excuse for your half-hearted efforts? :P

maybe i should try and get hold of a decent 3D program and actually try to make something then..
