Paint Shop Pro Vs. Photoshop

Whats the difference between the two? Which is better? Should i get it?

Difference is price, Photoshop is expensive.

So i can look at Paint Shop Pro Tuts and it can apply to Photoshop?

Hello Aces_High,

I believe it has more to do with your personal creativity AND familiarity with the graphics program of your choice.

As long as you have those two aspects, You should have no problems doing tutorials for any version or any graphics program.

When you're trying to create something, focus on the image itself, then use the tools you're familiar with to try to re-create what's actually being done to that image.

I think Photoshop is WAY better. If you agree with me, go and buy Photoshop CS2 v9.0. It's the best :)

I used Paint Shop Pro7, which I believe is an old version. When I made the switch over the Photoshop7, however, I fell in love.

The thing is, I believe photoshop has a more complex interface and has a steeper learning curve than Paint Shop Pro.

Photoshop is much better, just cost much more.
