3D snowflake's

i want to make a xmas sig but i use the snowflake in ths custom shapes of photoshop but i want the snow flake to spin round like 3D but i dunno how to get the side make it look 3D the way it is cut out any ideas

Make a vector in photoshop and export it as .ai or make an illustrator outline of the snowflake and import and extrude in c4d and animate? That might be a little too much work, but I'm not photoshop guru... someone else might know a way to do it in ONLY photoshop.

3d transform a circle and spin the lighting on the sphere in imageready :P
