How can I setup a wireless network so I can have internet access to my notebook computer. The Dell notebook I'll be ordering is Inspiron B130 w/ Dell 1370 Internal Wireless (802.11b/g, 54Mbps), the notebook also has an Integrated Network Card. I already have a desktop that has an internet connection but I'm wondering how I can (wirelessly) connect to the internet, obviously I'll need a DSL router but I'm confused when it comes to the A, B, and G technologies.

If your going wireless you'll recieve a kit with full instructions how to set it up. I'm on wireless and thats what they done for me when it came tiime to getting connected I had to go through the Network via the web for final steps to get configured.

Something else has come up, will a 1,000Mbps router "be too fast" for a 56K modem on the laptop?
