For those who still don't realize that all those beautiful models you see in magazines have benefitted from the aid of photoshop, the Swedish Ministry of Health and Social Affairs has created an online tutorial to demonstrate exactly how photo editors manipulate appearances.

i mean wow, what "cheating" if you can call it that.

My mother purchases model magazines. Sometimes I like to flip through them just to see if I can spot 'photoshopped' parts of the model's body. Sometimes I can, and sometimes I can't.

Nice find Donna. :)

wow, thanks so much for this, it's just... terrible to see them go to such lengths! It's the media's fault so many young people nowadays are fixated on their image, trying to look like the models in magazines.

Looking at that picture right away I knew the breasts and the waistline were manipulated, and maybe the face a little, but there was a lot more done than I thought.

Wow.. they do good work lol

The idea of the campaign is good, but in all honesty theres not really too much point in it - to help self esteem? to stop depression? These are just things we must go through as kids to become the adults we are today...

Why not start a campaign against smoking.. "binge" drinking... murder... stealing...

wasted money in my opinion....

Thats what i'm talkin about! How do you get into that business?

Its really sad how this plays with some kids' minds, though you do have to give the artists some credit, they have some real talent in photomanipping! <_<
