vectorizing image

hey,
im busy with my forst image to vectorize, but as you can see the shadows at the pants dont come out well. how can i make them aligned with the underlaying layer? is there some kind of handy trick for it?

Actually i like it better that way, but if you really want to adjust...
No special tricks, just zoom in and correct with pen and smooth tool, or the bad way: direct selection tool and moving the individual points.
But dont even try that when you used adobe streamline to vectorize it (whitch i doubt since the outcome is marvalous, i never had that luck with streamline!)

Nope, but i just wondered, since i dont vectorize images often, if people who do that a lot have handy tricks to to that?
