If I am interested in increasing the Google PR of the site http://www.mysite.com would it be better to have people link to the site with ...

<a href="http://mysite.com">mysite.com</a>

Or would this be better...

<a href="http://mysite.com">Find RSS Feeds</a>

The first will get the name out to people. But the second is more optized for search engines, I think. By using the second method, search engines will start associating search terms "Find RSS" with the site iGliss.com. Is that correct?

Yeah, that's correct.

Both links are good for PR, however the second one is better if you want to be listed in search engines when people search Find RSS Feeds.

I would go with the second one.

The best option would be to use an alt to define the content.

I think he means <a href="http://www.yoursite.com/" title="Some text here to explain the link">Some text here to describe again (very short)</a>
