-Use flash or javascript
-A mix of the two above

Just remember some users disable javascript or don't have flash installed. :D

of course
any website should warn people of their content
exemple: "flash required to see this page"

I think that if you want to make for exemple a business website, you have to use a clean and simple HTML, so anyone would be able to see it, even a windows 95 user hehehe.

I guess the reason why designers and coders resent IE so much is because you code by the standards, you do everything right, however, IE comes along and renders all your hard work incorrectly.

Put it this way, if HTML was compatible with all browsers, that would ruin the fun out of coding, so all browsers are special to give coders hell and make it more interesting. :)

I totally agree with you, Jamie. I personally use firefox but even that gets on my nerves so i switch to IE7. I :) them both. And which fool has the time on their hands to make a worthless 'IE sucks' website nowadays anyway? Get a life.
