ok, i installed startheme and it screwed up my bootscreen file, so i uninstalled it and installed stylexp, and it gave me my origanal back, so now its fine but i have two options upon b4 the bootup screen

i have

windows xp bootscreen
OR
(startheme) windows xp backup

but i cant get it to go away and alwayc chose option 1 ( windows xp bootscreen )

so any fixes? that dont involve screwing up my new computer or makeing me reinstalll windows?

I'd try asking the people at http://themexp.org, or http://wincustomize.com. Back when i was messing with the same stuff as you, they were the places i started at, and some of the people there seemed to know what they were doing.
