Want to make a little bit of an image blend in

Hi folks,

I have created a sig, not very good but I am a newbie :angry:

I would like to blend the back of the car into the background. How do I do this?

Get the eraser, load up some grunge brushes.
Make the eraser ( oppacity 30% and the flow 70%).
Erase the back of the car slightly and keep doin this, you shud know when to stop when it looks good.

Hi Bryn,

Tried doing that but it seems to get darker and darker, also how do I know what is a grunge brush?

Wow, think my newbie talents have just really shown, was working on the jpeg version not the psd. Sorry for the last post Bryn, it has worked :angry:

hey Tom, for another flexible option try this.
Select the Car Layer.
Click the Add LayerMask icon on the bottom of the Layers Palette.
Set Foreground swatch to Black.
Select the brush tool.
Then paint onto the mask to hide what you don't need.

Doing it this way you can always alter the masking without losing the original pixel information.
