ok.. First off. Im making a portfolio website. Lets just say each page will have 12 pieces of work (jpegs). I dont want flash to load all of them at the same time because that would take too long. What i want is for the jpegs to load when ever you click on their button. But heres the catch..... i want all of them to have preloaders.

I could..... Make a flash movie for each jpeg (12 per page) and add a preloader so i would be loading a movie file for EVERY jpeg. That would take me FOREVER. so, is there a shortcut to do this??

My question is: What is the shortet possible way to have a preloader for each one of my jpegs?

the fastest way, would be to take the preloader component included in every version of flash mx upwards, create one single movie with it (preloader and one jpeg) and then by passing variables change the picture.

Kirupa.com has some good tutorials about variable handling..
though is for flash 5 it's almost the same with flash 8.
