Just want to apologize for the bumpy ride we've been experiencing intermittently since Friday or so. For some reason, the server load is going through the roof for reasons we've been unable to isolate. Please bear with us while we try to get this figured out.

For the most part it hasn't been slow at all. However, just a few minutes ago the front page loaded a bit slow. I hope you get this sorted out soon, and I know you will.

Faken it might have something to do with pixel2life.com being listed in an article on my site which in turn got listed on digg.com (it has recieved 45,000 views in the last two hours). I had no idea my article would get so much attention and I'm suprised my server is holding up. Glad you guys are getting lots of new visitors here though.

Yeah I saw that! Good job with your article... must be a lot of fun seeing the exposure it's received. I definitely appreciate the extra visitors and help getting the word out about our site!

While of course the traffic is affecting things, we've been having some weird Load spikes in the last week since some defective RAM was changed, so we're looking into that. We may also be looking into a second server to handle HTTP processing and leave only MySQL running on this box, which is quite powerful.

Okay seriously when I read this you reminded me of a airplane pilot.

"We are undergoing some turbulance, please buckleup while we get past it" or something, anyways I hope it gets fixed soon
