Does anyone use dreamweaver on a Apple Mac?

I have some strange goings on on mine and wondered if anyone could me out.

Bascially everytime i upload my site or any changes, i can see them take affect on the mac, which was annoying and mean si have to come into work to check the changes.

As a test i removed all my files from the server to see what happened, i could still view my site, strange.

I have contacted the hosting company who say it must be a setting in dreamweaver.

Can anyone help me out as it getting very annoying.

Thanks
