Hello everyone. I am new to this forum and the PHP programming language as well. I've been reading tutorials and studying up on it. My problem is that I designed a sample layout in photoshop and I was trying to code it in PHP. The thing is I am having a problem with it coming out. I'm trying to have a 'header', 'footer', and a place for 'content'. I want the content image to be placed in the background so I can enter information and such. You guys probably get my drift. Anyways I'm looking for some tips/help or tutorials that will help me code my layout better. Here is an example of what I'm doing.

I want it to look like http://www.detroitro...SITE/index.html but in PHP format. Any advice?

Thanks. :P

This question has been asked several times here, do a search and you'll come up with something.
Also, look at the following link, it has several tutorials on what you're trying to do (just ignore the one about mySQL).

your links are broken and php is a scripting language. that means you cant create layouts with it. so now, please, ask another question.

uhm.. coolaid, you are wrong, php can create layouts, you just have to tell it to, and I think he is asking how to turn an image into a background to put content over it correct? If so.. you don't need php, it's simple html/css, you can do it in dreamweaver or another application aswell.

Halopr0, php cannot create layouts, html and css create layouts. php just nudges them in different directions from time to time.

Mike, you should know that your links are broken, and if the second half of what Halopr0 is saying is true, then you do need html help, not php help.
