Firstly, you need website hosting. Your website needs to be on the web so that others can view it. You can view the site on your computer because your computer has everything it needs to show it to you (text, images etc)
Secondly, your websites images should be coming from your web hosting space, and NOT from your computer. This is a common mistake made by beginners, who, when told by others that the images are not viewable, argue that they are viewable.

(I would go more in depth but I'm kind of in a rush)

ok ill try to explain the process.

1: make your layout in w/e program you like to make layouts in. Once you do that then if you never sliced a site before i recommend using http://www.slicingguide.com/ a great tutorial that Faken made. I would highly recommend reading everything and not skip though this tutorial becuase all the info in here is worth reading. (Faken uses photopaint, but if you use photoshop its the same thing just use the marquee tool to make your selections, then copy the selection (CTRL-C) and then create a new document and then paste that. So dont let that scare you when he uses a different program then you it is really basically the same)

2: once you are done slicing your layout, still use http://www.slicingguide.com/ to help you put it together inside of dreamweaver. if you do not have dreamweaver download the 30 day free-trial here http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/tdrc/ind...uct=dreamweaver .

3. now your site looks all pro inside of dreamweaver you want everyone else to see your pro-ness. So search google for free web servers or something, but if you can buy a small one that would be better. Some are maybe only like $3 or more a month.

4. once you find a hosting site that you like, look and see if that have a "Upload files" place on their page. This is where you upload all your files that you have. Everything that you have in you website you have to upload (pics, html pages, video, music, ect..) Ive heard that FTP programs are alot easier to upload your files.

5. once your site is on the web show it to all your friends and here http://www.pixel2lif...hp?showforum=80 inside the Critique My Site part of the forum

I hope this is easy to understand and it helps you and anyone else thats never made a webpage before.
