As i'm busy making a clan site, it would be very handy if i could pull data from clanbase like upcomming wars, war results, rankings, members and all the other stuff (updated every time the page on the clan site get's reloaded or every hour or something).
I know it's possible cause i've seen scripts around that do this but i don't uderstand the code cause it's not commented or the creators of the scripts don't give it to others to use.

So if anyone knows something please share it with the community...

Do you mean a db that you add information to your that you gain from the Gaming Server?

no i mean like info that has been echo'ed out on another site
from clanbase.com
like war results, ladder rankings, ...

90% of the time that's done via RSS and with the author consent (or the rss feed wouldn't be there in the first place).
As far as i know, simply trying to open another site and take their content is illegal. If they have an RSS feed you can get access to, that's a different story.
As i've never worked with php/xml simultaneously, i can only recommend you take a look at the following functions when working with a RSS feed.
