I'm trying to open in C4D a logo created in Photoshop and saved as a .ai (vectorized) file. I opened C4D, nothing happens when I open the file. It does not appear on the objects menu. What can I do to make it appear?
Thanks for any suggestion.

I dont get it... ? Why on earth would you want to open a picture in a 3D program, just to convert it to vector format??

For one , it is impossible to (from a pure technical point of view) to convert pixels in mathematical formulae/description (cos thats what you want to do). The other way around IS off course possible.

Now, if you have the intention to convert it in a postcript compatible format, you can do that direcly in photoshop (save a copy as... --> choose the .eps option) --> but that wont convert pixels in mathematical descriptions.

If you want a postcript (read this time "vector") format you must make your logo in an other program like Illustrator, Freehand, Autocad, and i think even Coral Draw but not sure of that one.

Others will correct me if i'm wrong though...

O.K. it seems I wasn't clear with my question.
I followed a tutorial (open the link to see it)

Obviously I couldn't make it. So, now I am asking for help.

Thanks anyways.
