Hey there,

I completed Funky's tut on the MP3 player, part 3 and all was great!
But because you are restricted to a few songs because of the playlist (and without making the size of your animation huge), i wanted to add a simmilar effect to this scrolling menu, for the playlist:

I tried, but i have little knowledge of actionscript... If someone could help it would be awesome!

Basically to give you the main idea about how it's done!
Create a container movieclip with a scrollbar, then attach all the song buttons to that containermovie instead to the root.

When I have a little bit more spare time I will post a tutorial about it

I did try that, but i was in a hurry and didnt think i was anywhere near right so it was half hearted.. but it's great to know i was on the right track

The only problem i have now is that the mask i place over the top of the playlist effects the text inside (becomes invisible). Im sure theres an easy way to fix it. Does anyone know how?
