Hey,

i took a picture of Jessica alba, and tried to make a realistic looking necklace on here. Nechtlace is done in photoshop, so i can edit it always. Now i know it doesn't look 100% real but i need yur help and comments and tips how to do that plz. Here the images are:

Work on the lighting, that will make it much more realistic. Right now, the light source shining on Jessica is from the right, but the highlights on your necklace are all over the place, mostly from the left, which makes it look like it was placed in there. Also, some shadows would make it seem more realistic (everything casts a shadow!)

I agree with birdman, the lighting needs a lot of work

Lighting doesnt quite fit.
Looks good tho.

Put on a necklace yourself and try get the same lighting setup as on the picture and check how the shades etc are.. Then select your necklace and grab a black soft round brush ... Put some shadows here and there and lower opicity.. Just play around. Also skew the object more so it doesn't look like its pasted on the picture itself. I think this kinda of things can be pretty hard to get right.
