3dsm problem

hey guys... i have been an user of 3dsm for quite a while, but something happened yesterday... i was working and i imported something from poser into 3dsm.... from since, the transfor tools aka move rotate etc. do not show thier little arrow things or the rotate globe for the rotate tool.... how can i fix this or how can i reset all of 3dsm's settings back to factory

I'm not sure if this will work but have a try:

go to: Customize -> customize user interface then go to tab "Toolbars" and load the maxStartUI.cui file

yeahhh i tried that but i found what wrong.... i was installing ane w firewall cause the one i used was eating up all my ram, and u knw how symantec is, its either them or no one.... so form there i knew it had ]something to do with the firewall removal, so i just re-installed it and even imported the same file no problem... it was a bug

i just came to this site to post the same problem, i dont see the modifier helpers..
and when i removed and reinstalled it it still doesnt work

Ok i figured it out, its a very complicated and long procedure tho to get them back so pay close attention:
press 'x'
