Hey,

Im designing a website for my mate. Its a car club. He would like a forum where people can chat like this forum. How would i go about starting one?

any help or links would be great.

ive done that. im on an apple mac btw:

firstly i got a a programme off versiontracker.com called ubbc opened it and didnt get what i had to do. do i need to download a free forum and open it in this?

Well, you have different options.
phpBB is free, but you need a host to install it. Easy to use.
You can use Invision Board, but you have to pay for it. An alternative is Invisionfree. They host the forum for you, so you don't need hosting.

These are the most famous boards, but there're other alternatives.

wow thanks ive signed up to the invision free one. how do i go about creating moderators?

You can also find a lot of information about invision free on their support forum (use the search option) and skins on IF SkinZone.
