Well, here's the thing.. I'm making a website with articles, columns and such, and i was wondering about the design... Nowadays, all you see in websites is lots of graphics, and such.

Anyways, visitors are supposed to read long articles in the website, so i thought that a simple but effective design would be more helpful in this case...

What do you think?

Thanks!

PS: Can't i make a poll? :/

If your going to have lng posts for people to read you need a design tht is subtle so they can read the article, they dont want to see scanlines clan type templates with too much going on as it detracts the users focal point from text to a complicatd puzzle of a design, the human mind would rather have a go at the puzzle than read tht text.

also try not to use bright colours around the text, its also distracting and painfull for sum viewers,P2L has white bg where text is (or a light shade of grey) yet it still has the happyness with the bright blue/green design.

Hope this was helpfull :D :D

simple and effective. In saying that, I dont mean simple and plain. Make good use of whitespace too.
