Hello...Everyone im new at making site. I need to know how to make buttons...like for example You know where it has general discussion then at the left it has icon or somthing..even sometimes looks like folder...i want to know how to change it...http://hermitcrabaddiction.net/forum/index.php .Take a look at that site..and you see how they have hermit crab button near there forum..i wann know how to make button. What i mean is you know how this site has arrows as there butoons on there forum..i wann know how to make my own

Very well. Well first off welcome to Pixel2Life.

Secondly the easiest way to modify forum graphics in my experience and for ease of use to you would be the following:
(instructions may vary according to forum system)
in your forum installation folder there should be a folder around for images and/or graphics
perhaps this folder with all the graphics that make up your forum is in a folder called "templates"
either way, find the picture that is currently next to your forums (the picture you want to change) from here on refered to as "the original"

now find and/or make a picture that you want next to your forum titles.
resize it so it is the same size as the original
save it with the same name (and extension) as the original
now upload it to the same folder the original is in
it will ask if you want to overwrite, click yes.

That would be the easiest way to accomplish what you're asking. I hope this is of use to you, I wish you luck and once again welcome you to P2L

Im kinda confused a little bit because i had just started at this website design, so sorry if i ask to many questions..does all the people that own sites have the same cpanel ( controlpanel)?

No problem, questions are good. and for your other question the interface (cPanel) varies with each hosting client. However they are all quite similar.
Plus my apologies if I confused you, let me try and simplify further if I may.
Im assuming you have installed a forum yes?
If so just look through the files for the graphic/image that you want to change. Using either FTP or your file-browser.
Make a new graphic (the same size and extension)
Upload it to the same folder the old one was in.

As an afterthought, to find this file easier right click that little picture you want to change and goto properties (IE) or if you're using firefox > right click and >> view image That will tell you the location of this graphic.

Do i have to have a picture made to have a button...or can i make it?

you can make it if you'd like
if you make it or if you download it just make sure its the same size #1 (it may not matter but it could cause uglyness in the forum if its not)
then just make sure you save it as the same name and extension, to overwrite the original.

Just crack open your image-editor and make one.
Or search google for "(your forum software name) graphics"
ex: "phpbb graphics"
