Hello!

I have a template in which i used a vertical gradient..now I want to have it stretched instead of having it repeated...
Any help?

Well if you want the gradient to just tile near the top put this on your body tag.

style="background-repeat:repeat-x;"

What's the difference between stretched and repeated with a verticle gradient?

Also, this question has been asked before, but i'm leaving this open just to see your response to the above question.

he probably means he wants the gradient to stretch horizontally and repeat downwards (or vice versa)... in which case, you cant.

hers a way
http://scudworkz.com...kgroundstretch/

heres one way.. only way i know of that can stretch a background image. but of course, its nearly impossible to achieve on a regular layout cause of absolute positionings and indexes...

actually it might be possible.... hrmm... i have to test things out for myself..
well anyway do the tut and try to incorporate the technique into your template

Hi!

Thanks for that page....but that method unfortunately won't work with my site I think :huh:... I've now found an other solution which is not good but ok....i make a pic of the lowest part of the gradient and then set that as a background...

Thanks anyway!

greets
