hey guys...
umm i have been banging my head in my desk for a week now trying to figure out how to make this type of shading.
i know in the image below they have used particle flow toolkit box 1, but i have absolutely no idea how to make the shading aka the coloring of the particles like that.
i do know that as the particles get denser, the coloring gets more bright like in the picture below.
my request is that if anyone could point me to the right direction on how to get this type of shading.

thnx in advnance and here are few examples

actually it does have something to do with the renderer your using, because different renderers have different materials. for example if you were using vray, a vray light material could help you. but as youre using FR, you will not be able to use a vray light material.

I dunno for the rest, and i cant really answer your question,
But i see a Unreal picture there:
(no idea how, but...)
The developpers (and the modders) use Maya for the 3D objects, then there saved as meshes and the textures (also glowing bits) are baked on them. Then in the so called Unreal editor all the effects are added (guns blazing, sounds etc.). There the maps are made too, together with spawnpoints etc...

I once had the ambition to make these maps etc... but as usual, the coding killed me. I never succeeded :D .
