I am creating a cover for an advertisement booklet in photoshop. I am using a resolution of 300 pixels/inch. My problem is the actual printing process. If I print directly from photoshop, the cover is printed in its appropriate size, however, if I print from lets say windows (right-clicking on the file and pressing print), then windows brings up its printing settings and none of them print the cover with the right measurements. (the default windows printing settings are like full page, full page stretched, business card size etc....) My question is, if I am sending the final version as a jpg, tif or whatever to someone who does not have photoshop on their computer, how do I make sure they get to print it with its proper measurements.

Thanks,

Tirus

Does your printer not come with it's own program?

Have a look at:

It may or maynot help you but if your sending a final image I cannot see it changing in size, if unsure submit to a print shop on their behalf.
