I've been getting a few inquiries as to how often and how many tutorials are added to the database each day, and on top of that, Donna recently suggested I remind everyone of our update schedule. I guess I should take a hint
So, to anyone that wonders how often we update, the mystery ends! Now that I am working on P2L more or less fulltime, a minimum of 20 tutorials are approved and added to the listing daily. When a tutorial is approved, it is moved into a live queue, and the main page of P2L is updated with a tutorial from this queue every 30 minutes. So if there are 50 approved tutorials in the queue, that means a new tutorial will be posted to the main page every 30 minutes for the entire day.
We receive hundreds of submissions every day and only a small portion are actually approved for multiple reasons, hence the wait time for your tutorials to be reviewed average 7 - 10 days, although I am striving to keep that at 3 days or less.
