I was wondering if anyone could explain how to make things look realistic in photoshop, for example having a glass thing with a glare on it, also Wondering how to make things shiny metal, with sort of a reflection look. That would help alot thanks

It's mostly brushing and shading. If you have a good eye for shading you should be able to create realistic metal and glass.

My friend Jeff is good at shading and brushing.
