Hi.
My sister wants a website of her scouting group. She asked me to make one, so I did. Now I'm looking for a good Web host. This one looks cheap and good. Anny comments ?

Lunarpages has a decent reputation, but they are very large - don't expect a personal touch to their support.

One problem is that they have suPHP on their servers which breaks a ton of PHP by default. If you don't run any scripts that have issues with suPHP, you should have a positive experience.

There are some hidden costs. The $7.95 price only comes when you select an annual billing cycle (otherwise you have a higher monthly fee and a setup fee), and they charge you +$1/mo for each additional MySQL database beyond the 1 that is provided. Artificial caps like that are a good way to generate extra $$ on their end though.

It all depends if you want free space or paid webspace..
Well.... If you want one awsome free webhosting site you can use 100 Free And then go to Dot Tk for a free .tk domain. Thats what i did for my site because i am to young to buy any webspace... if i could i would.
....If yo want good quality paid webhosting then i dont know what to say because i never paid for my webspace and i should...

If you are refering to my post with the 100 Free then your answer is no... no it does not have ads. But if you dont sign up on Dot TK for your domain name then your webpage will be for example: http://yournickname....ee.com/default/

So thats when Dot TK comes in all you have to do is sign up and type in your URL to the 100 free website and..... VUALLA!!!
Thats all it takes.

I would have to agree. ServerSeed.com is the place to be. The costomer service there, is the best Ive seen any were. You feel like they really do care and are tring there hardest to resolve any issues that might arise.
