What does the term 'Perpendicularly Extrude' mean? I got it from a 3D Studio Max tutorial and don't understand what it wants me to do.
It asks me to:
'Select the edges [like on the left] and perpendicularly extrude towards the interior.' (This is in relation to the creation of a model ear).
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Dunno if this answers you question, but...
perpendicularly = 90°
so what they mean i guess is when you extrude (you can do that by dragging the polygon, after you took the extrude tool) you have to drag at a straight angle inwards.
Thats MHO off course, hope it helped a little.
Not good at 3D, i'm still learning, and i kinda gave up on 3DSMax and started out in Cinema4D, cos it makes a lot more sense.

Thanks very much!
Now I'm having trouble understanding what a tutorial is asking me to do.

The whole sphere cap part near the bottom has me scratching my head.
Anybody help a guy in need?
Never used Cinema4D.
