I am trying to connect to my ftp on my laptop from Dreamweaver. I set it up fine on my desktop but can't get it connected on my laptop. I have the settings within dreamweaver identical on both computers and don't know a lot about firewalls and stuff, but I did try connecting with the firewall off and still won't work. Does anyone know any reasons why it isn't connecting?

I'm not sure, though telling us an error message or a better description of exactly what isn't happening could help.

If you're on windows, you can open up IE, and type ftp://www.yoursite.com and then after its there, hit File>Login As... and type your info...
