Just thought i'd make my first post something interesting by showing you lot my work.

Its only simple stuff really but ive only been using PS for about 3 months now.

Looks like you have put some time into putting these together. The 3rd one down is really brite to my eyes. I would probable tone down the brightness on the letters just a little bit. Overall they look really nice. Keep up the great work and we hope to see more.

the flamming acroama one is only a work in progress, im looking to ad some flames around the edges and maybe a central explosion behind the main lettering, dont know yet though.

I'm in the same boat.

They do look nice, but I think the filtering is overdone. In my own opinion, filters should be subtle and barely noticed.

just a quick thought though, what if that was the effect i was going for and didnt want ti subtle lol. joking, i know exactly what you mean and 99% of my work is work in progress anyway (a good excuse lol).

some good stuff, though i think you need to work on your colour schemes.

not bad on your CD cover thing maybe use a dif font for the writing and maybe get those lightning things or cracks w/e they are make them like more real..... and yeah alot of filter lol on this forum we wanna see the artist in you and not the artistic side of the people who made adobe photoshop and their easy to do filters....
