I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to open another swf file from the current swf file? and have it open in a new flashplayer window...THanks

in your swf create a button and give that button this code:
 getURL("url/file.swf", "blank");

Somewhere in flash forum is a topic regarding opening new windows with javascript in flash, maybe you want to use that code also.
