I can`t figure it out how to use the clone stamp ... i have a star field and i want to clone more stars and gather more in a place ... but i simply don`t know how to ... i alt-clicked an area to clone from that area and then started clicking where i want to clone ... nothing happened ( just few low visible changes ...how can i use it .. ?

make sure the opacity is set to 100% and blend mode to normal.

yes it was and aligned box checked .... but i think every time i click i clone the part i just clicked ....that`s cause the aligned box right ? What should i do ... if i want to take a part to clone and then to multiply the stars in 1 place by clicking more then once over there ... it should work right ? i tryed but it doesn`t ... why ? (( and i`m workin` on high res 2500*4000 now I hope u can help me

umm... what?

hold alt to get the 'part to copy'.

if you want to continously copy that same exact part every time you let go of the mouse button and click again, then let go aligned... if you want it vice versa, then check the aligned part.

what exactly is happenign when you do it? also make sure you're working on the layer that you want to clone.

i did like u sayd but i still can`t get it work ... i clone the cloned part on a blank new layer .. but if i click 2 times in one place .. second time a little downer ... the upper click (cloned part, the first one) it`s gettin a lower opacity ... the stars aren`t so brightned and ... i`m only gettin mad ... i can`t get it work ((

can you clone on 2 diff layers, ot clone on transparent part of layer when the option keep transparancy is checked ?
Just brainstorming here cos i never had any touble with clone tool.
