Could you explain who they is? Because according to bungie.net, absolutely nothing has been announced, other then that pimps at sea thing (which i still don't believe).

So, to ease Bungie's pain due to false rumors going around again, please show some proof of these "release dates."

p.s. Moved to proper category (since this isn't a resource).

i used to be a big Playstation fan, but the moment i played Halo and a few others on the xbox, i sold my ps2 and all of its games and traded them all in and bought an Xbox. Halo and H2 are great games, H3 will be just as good, specially sience thet 360 is over 80 times more powerfull then the regular xbox, i cannot wait to see what the game looks like. As for the halo movie, i hear that it is going to be a live action movie, however if they get brad pitt or tom cruise to play the spartan i am not going to see the movie. My thoughts on the ps3 are that it will be a flop, sony is promising so much stuff with that system it is not even funny, as it is they had to push the date back because the the blueray trouble. on top of that i hear the retail for the system will be almost a grand.

Halo in my opinion, is easily one of the worst first person shooters of all time... poor graphics (VERY POOR), poor gameplay (repetitive) and 5 models that are rotated for every piece of defined, exactly the same everytime gamplay...

and that's just the xbox version

Heh, I have to say I agree somewhat but not with the graphics part, yes some graphics suck but others are good, The humans could have been way better graphics though!
The gameplay is not that repetitive and online play is the only fun part...plant the bomb ^_^

I dont even own an xbox360 dont plan to, my xbox is completly trashed, skips alot, takes about 5min to load a cd loL!

But Im guessing since halo3 is coming out so fast it will be worse then halo2? lol

Man if only those Final Fantasy XI peoples didnt make it cost $13/mo lol..

Halo Jay, or Halo2? ;)

I am expecting Halo3 to hit somewhere around the release of the Playstation3. Halo is the maiden game for the Xbox and releasing it near the Playstation3 launch is a way for Microsoft to combat Sony for the Xbox360 product. This is just a rumor, but a very tangible one at that. I can easily see this happening, but I am not too proud of it if that is the case. I want Halo3 as soon as they are done with it as I am itching to see how they incorporate Multiplayer with the new Xbox Live system for the 360.

Either Halo needs flushing down the toilet... Give me Unreal Tournament, Call of Duty or Counter-Strike anyday... The Halo series just doesn't bring anything new to the table

Amen to that, console shooters bite the big one in compare to PC shooters like half-life, cs, and Call of Duty.

Because Call of Duty, a game based off World War 2, with tons of bugs and bad graphics (the original and the sequel), and hundreds of scripted events, has something new to bring to the table.

Hey now, I don't think this thread should turn into a "Game bashing thread." Kids who have egos usually do that. Call of Duty(2) is a mighty fine game even though there is already a plethora of WWII related games out there on the market.

Halo and Halo2 do bring new things to the 'table'. Whether it be the story (which I will admit, it has some tangible flaws... But never the less, it's a lot more constructed than the average FPS out there) or gameplay. It's a valuable game, and to simply say, "It needs to be trashed" is quite ridiculous.

When I am looking at a game, I look at professional reviews. I don't count on what people say about it on forums or in public; I read the reviews.

Halo and Halo2 only sold, what, a few million copies? And there's usually 40,000 people online Halo2 playing at any given time... I think those numbers justify the game's overall credibility.

"The gameplay is not that repetitive and online play is the only fun part...plant the bomb "

Um are you talking about halo or halo 2 because they are very diffrent games. Also "Halo: Forrunner" are you serious? There is no name for the next game from Bungie. Bungie has not even said if there next game is infact Halo 3.

"we all know bungie and their love for delaying" Well I am pretty sure that is the opposite of what bungie does. Infact many halo:CE fans blame Bungie for rushing halo 2 (halo2sucks.com).

The only thing that is sertain is the next halo game will come out at the same time as the PS3.
