I just wanted to do this experiment and see how close this website is...So yea follow these steps see how far the coordinates are from your house and poll/tell here

Goto this site http://www.showmyip.com/geo/
Scroll down a bit and click longititude and latitude, it will take you back to the top of the page, then scroll back down...it should give a longitude and latitude coordinates. Goto Google Earth(or some other map service), get driving directions from your house to the longitude and latitude coordinates and see how far away it is from your house.
Its supposed to land straight on your house or street I think, as it landed on the street of my friends house. It landed, 21km away from my house.
If your using google Earth, to enter the coordinates just enter it like
1.000, 1.000
Order is Latitude, Longitude

I just want to see how close it gets, all the other info on that page was correct for me

Edit: the 90km option at the bottom should be 90km+; and now it is! - Adam

Didnt even get the right city for me :\

I'm a spit away from the largest city in Canada, and it puts me over 100 km's in the opposite direction.

no where near me off by 800klms, getting closer though as it used to have me in another Province.
