I've been searching for a Infrared Filter for my Canon Powershot Pro 1 but unfortunatley I can't find any. I was wondering if you guys had any information about this filter. Maybe it's called something else?

Thanks for the help.

Just guessing here, but if you refer to the socalled "zero flux" nightshot (and "super nightshot" i think canon calls it) ... its build in the carl zeiss lens (or rather with software inside) on your camera, i dont think you can buy a "infrared mechanism" for a digital camera.

But like i said, its a wild guess, cos i am a complete noob (read moron) (x 10) on this subject.

Maybe there are real photographers here who can actually help you.

I would be interested to know what you find out. I've been looking for the past few days and I couldn't find one.

Regards,

Canon Support said:

Thank you for writing to us. We value you as a Canon customer and
appreciate the opportunity to assist you with your PowerShot Pro 1.

Unfortunately, Canon does not have an infrared filter for the camera nor
are we able to recommend one. I sincerely apologize for any
inconveniences this may cause.
Hope they make one in the future. Canon PS P1 is a great camera and should have it one also. :'(
