(don't forget to put a stop(); action at the end, otherwise your movie will fall into a loop loading the swf everytime the playhead passes that frame.. )

the thing is i have a main prentation that has a menu on its second frame, theres a button on that frame that links me to a slideshow.swf. now on the slide show there is a back button which loads back my main page but i want it to start on the menu (frame 2) and not my first frame. >.< im confusing myself aswell now haha

im reading your posts and am well confused lol.
simply adding it inside one swf should be suffice, set the button to play sprite XXX (if swish)
of actionscript if flash.
i would suggest you'll have a much better response if we can see the problem.

Well, bad news.. you can't load a movie and explicit tell that new movie to go to frame 2. cause you are replacing the movies forth and back.
Anyway I've posted a workaround, have a look at it, and let me know if this is what you were looking for..

buttonXYZ.onPress = function(){ loadMovie("slideshow.swf", empty_mc); }
going back:
buttonXYZ.onPress = function(){ unloadMovie(this); }
