i recently looked up your tutorial for how to make an animated gif( in dobe photoshop section ), and i had a couple
of problems following the steps. there were a couple of things left out. Like do you need to open a new file to put all your pictures in on different layers. I cant get the layers to save. it keeps a making background with the new picture i select every time. can someone refer me to a better tutorial, or maybe help.

You need the pictures you want to animate in separated layers. You can use Adobe Photoshop to do it, and then change to ImageReady to make the animation.
I don't understand exactly where your problem is, maybe if you could post some screenshots I could help you.
