i dont have experience on this field (and most likely neither do the rest of us seeing as how we wouldn't waste our time on things like posting on tutorial indexing sites when we are that good, we'd waste our internet time creating things...)
but the animation is done in a 3d software (3dsm, cinema4d, maya, etc) and simple mouse over effects on the flash.
