Saving MC as jpg/bmp

Is it possible for you to be able to save a MC image as a bmp/jpg/png/gif, any type will do. I recently recreated my paint program and got people wanting me to make a Save function but I don't know how to do it. OR if there is even a way.

to my knowledge what you want is not possible. But flash 8 lets you capture a bitmap image and export it. see this tutorial for more info
