Hi, I'd like to know how can I make a special effect, I think I have to use levels and filters to create that but I can't find out how... (I know about the grunge background I should make) Here's the pic I want to create:

well if you already know how to make the grunge background then the rest should simply be a brown color overlay on a top-most layer.
then you could try clicking on image - adjust - contrast. to get the black more concentrated
