I have a very interesting situation. Basically I am applying a metal effect to a mercedes logo. What happens is that when I try to apply all the blending options to the large 8ft by 8ft image at 300 dpi it barely effects teh ring of teh logo. I then raise everything as high as possible and still it doesn't affect the ring of the logo...but when I resize the image to a smaller image and apply the effects it looks perfect. My question is how can I apply the results that I'm getting with the small logo to the larger logo when I can't put the measurements on the blending options any higher?

1. you could go to iamge size and change the dpi-settings without resampling checked (!!!) and then go back to 300 dpi.
2. In the layers palette theres at the upper right corner a triangle... if you click there you will find an option "scale effects"
(this one only is available for Photoshop CS and higher)
