Hi all, It's been awhile since ive used photoshop cs, and i've forgotten a few useful shortcuts. When i copy a render into an image, how would i resize just the render, on top of the other layers, so i can resize it to fit the background.

Make sure the render layer is selected and you can go to Edit > Transform > Scale. You could also use the Move Tool and make sure Show Transform Controls is set.

(after selecting the layer) press ctrl+T and you'll see a blue rectangle with handles to resize it, and in the tool options bar at the top you can set everything with exact numbers (thats what i always do)
If you dont see the rectangle it just means that the "render" (as you guys keep calling it) is a lot (and i mean a lot) bigger then the others, so just put little numbers in the option bar (like 20% vertical and horizontal) till you see the rectangle and then size it to what you want.

Thank you both so much. The ctrl + T is the command i was thinking of, just remember(for those who read this) to click shift to so you can resize the image evenly.

Or alt, if you want to resize with the centre in the middle instead of the border.
(erm... this should confuse you even more, just do it , try it out and you'll see what i mean).
